Do you copy?

So I'm almost caught up. I've gotten everything updated through June. If you are on FB, chances are you've seen all of this already. But it has me wondering, how many people are reading this blog?  So, do me a favor, email me so I know who is all following this. If it is all Facebook friends I might take this blog off my to-do list.

Thanks!

June Birthdays

We celebrated Drew and Matt's birthday with friends and family.

We stopped at Famous Dave's for their Birthday Sunday, all 3 dug right in.

Matt had friends over for a back yard party.

Matt was "encouraged" to ask for donations to the food shelf in lieu of gifts.

7 years old!

9 years!

Drew also took some friends to the movies and for ice cream but a photo is not available, er, wasn't taken.

Mr. Big Time

Ryan has moved up to 2 wheels (plus training wheels). He's very proud of his "biggest tallest bike" as he calls it. And in keeping with his personality, he has no fear and will go as fast as he can.

A Warm Welcome

Sometimes you need to leave to be missed. I went on a quick over night trip for a friends birthday party. When I got home, this was what was waiting for me.

Spring Sports

This spring Matt played baseball, his team was the Brewers. On our last trip to WI, we had to purchase a few extra Brewer shirts while in the state. He absolutely loves baseball!

While Matt was on the baseball diamond, Drew was in the soccer field this spring.  During one game, Drew started to kick the ball in the wrong direction so I yelled, "Drew you are going the wrong way!" then he yelled back, "I know!" I always wondered if kids can hear you yelling from the side-lines. I got my answer that day.

Vehicle Fair Visit

Always a favorite in our house is the Vehicle Fair in the spring. The boys have such a fun time climbing in the different vehicles and pretending to drive.  So much fun!

Kindergarten Concert

There is something really special about watching your child perform at their school concerts. Each time it brings me to tears for no real reason. Matt's was no different.

Top 3 Reasons

On Mother's Day we took this picture of me and my top 3 reasons to love my stretch mark and week bladder.

Water Park Weekend

Our annual post tax season family get away weekend was in the Dells this year at the Kalahari.  It had a fun water park and as an added bonus it also had an amusement park as well. As you can image, we didn't get bored during our stay.

Easter Sunday Best

Preparing to attend a wedding this summer we "practiced" wearing our fancy clothes on Easter. If it wasn't for their silly posed, I almost wouldn't recognize these good looking guys!

Hanauska Cousins

The boys and I made a trip home to Wisconsin over spring break to see the farm and visit with family. We had a chance to get all the cousins on one couch for a photo.

Peep Show

Keeping with annual tradition, Drew, Matt and Ryan helped Grandma Liz create a Peeps Diorama.  This year their theme was Duck Dynasty.

Matt's "Worse Day Ever!"

After picking up Matt from school one day in February he says:
Matt: I had the worst day ever.
    Me: Why?
    Matt: I think I have a girlfriend.
They had a "post office" set up in school during the month and the kids are encouraged to write letters to each other. Evidently a girl in the class put 2 hearts by her name on the card she gave to Matt. Which obviously means that she wants to be his girlfriend.

Too Big for the Tooth Fairy

Drew needed to have  tooth pulled this spring, as it wasn't coming out and the new one was already in. No wonder it wouldn't come out, the root was still attached. We had to leave a note for the tooth fairy to ask if we could keep it. Check it out!

Family Fun Night Winner

As a fundraiser, our school hosts a family fun night. As a parent, I dread the night, but the kids look forward to all the carnival games, bounce houses and chance to win prizes. Matt was a lucky winner this year, winning a raffle basket. Ironically it was filled items that we had donated, er, regifted. Either way, he was very exited about his big win.

Think Spring!

After the winter we had, we were desperate for spring to arrive. In March, the local greenhouse hosted an event where you could plant pots and then come back and pick them up in May. The boys had fun picking out and planting the pots and we were all surprised at how amazing the plants looked when we picked them up.
