Look Mom - No Training Wheels

In April, Matt decided he no longer needed his training wheels as "they are for babies". But was quickly discouraged that he couldn't ride his bike so there is sat in the garage. Then a few days ago he started walking around with it. Then when we weren't watching he taugh himself how to ride it. Needless to say, Craig and I were impressed and amazed. See for yourself.

We Made It!

Memorial Day is just days away which will mean that summer is officially here. And after a long winter we are more than ready for the end of the bundling season. Just a few weeks ago I decided it was safe to wash all the winter clothes and pack them away for the summer. We made it through the winter and only lost one hat and one glove, ironically they were both mine, guess I should practice what I preach.

School Concerts Here We Come

Earlier this month we attended Drew's Kindergarten concert. This is just the first of many concerts we will attend over the next several years and as far as I'm concerned these types of things will never get old to me, especially in these early years. I love watching the kids that are slightly out of sync, those who wave back to the parents and the kids that yell vs. sing. We were there along with the paparazzi and I was able to record the song "Brothers For Sale"on my camera. The entire concert will be available at RedBox soon. Sorry the video isn't great but I think you'll still enjoy it. Take a listen.

Best Excuse Yet

Last night while trying to put Matt to bed I heard the best excuse yet. After I told him that he had to go to bed to get some sleep, he said, "I don't need to go to sleep, I'm nocturnal." I had all I could do not to laugh at that one. I guess he really did learn a thing or two at preschool this year.

No Royal Wedding in our Future

While we were watching highlights of the Royal Wedding on Friday, Drew informed me that he's "not going to get married, he'll just eat out." Meaning he doesn't need a wife to cook for him. I reminded him that he already knows how to make his own PBJ and waffles so at least we know he won't go hungry or have to eat out for every meal.
