What Are You Thankful For?

While trying to help Drew understand all the things we should be thankful for. I had him make a list of 7 things (his age) that he was thankful for. I still don't understand the dead fish, but I'll take it and we'll continue to keep talking about how we should be grateful for so many other things.

Twins 5 Years Apart

People often ask who Ryan looks like. When Ryan wears clothes that the other two wore back in the day, it is always a walk down memory lane. Above is a photo of Ryan and then Drew, they look pretty similar and of course the same shirt helps them look even more alike.

Future Panther

Matt was able to participate in the basketball program this year for the first time. He learned so much this year and even a month after his "season" ended, he love practicing his dribbles and shooting hoops. His age group was able to showcase their dribbling during half-time at the High School boys basketball game. You can see him in the middle of the photo concentrating hard.

Trick-or-Treat!

Below are some of our Halloween Highlight Photos.  Enjoy.

Ryan trying on his costume shortly before halloween. I love the crocs peeking out at the bottom.

Ryan practicing trick-or-treating in our house.

All 3 of our little monsters.

This costume and Matt's pose is just classic Matt.

Checking out their haul.

Pumpkin Picking

On a nice fall day, we headed out to the local pumpkin patch to pick out our perfect pumpkins. The boys had a great time climbing on-top of the piles of pumpkins. And as you can see after they were carved, they still looked great!  In case you can't see it, they were carved to look like an evil grinning face, the batman logo and Elmo. Bet you can't guess which kid did which?

Fall Soccer

Drew and Matt both played soccer this fall and both had a great time despite neither of their teams having very good records. They were fun to watch especially on the nice days, the cold and windy days, I could have done without. But they didn't seem to mind and all the extra running was great for all the energy those guys have.

Back to School

First of all, let me apologize for the format, I can't figure out a way to get the photos to sit next to each other, but you are here for the photos anyway, so I'm sure it isn't a problem to scroll to get the story that goes with each post.

Second, my apologies for some long over-due posts. I guess we've been busy. We started another year of school in Sept. Drew started 2nd grade. Seems to be doing well, other than homework, he likes it. Matt started a preschool program for kids who were 5 but not fully ready for Kindergarten. He's adapted much better than I expected and really enjoys school.  Above are the photos we took on the first days of school, all ready to take on the new year.

Lions and Tigers and Dinosaurs?

This past summer the Minnesota Zoo had a special exhibit with dinosaurs, so at the end of summer we took a visit to the zoo to check them out. They were very life like, even moving and making noises. Like most boys their ages, they like dinosaurs and thought the exhibit was very cool.
