Anxiously Awaiting

Even the boys are ready for this baby to arrive. This morning Matt asked if they were going to Grandma's house today. I said no. Then he said in his saddest voice, "When is the baby going to come?"

Religious Education

During church yesterday we gave both boys some coins to put into the collection basket to prevent fights over the envelop which prompted them ask what the money was for. Here is the conversation that followed:
Cindy - The money is for God.
Matt & Drew - Where is God?
Cindy - He is in heaven.
Matt - Like the squashed turtle? (a dead turtle they saw last summer)
Cindy - Yes
Matt - Is God squashed?

Craig and I had all we could do not to laugh out loud.
