Early Reading

As part of Drew's nightly homework, he is required to read us a story each night. Recently one night, Drew was reading his story to me when he got stuck on the word "hold". He was rereading the sentance and sounding out the word, when Matt offers up his help and tells Drew that he thought the word was "hold". I had all I could not to laugh out loud. I was both impressed that Matt had figured it out, but sad for Drew that his little brother figured it out before him. Needless to say, Drew wasn't very happy with Matt.
